This weekend we had the opportunity to go on a date with one of my best friends Heather, and her husband Michael. We went to a temple session and then to eat at one of our favorite pizza places, Pizza Mart! Heather and Michael are moving to Indianapolis and since Michael is leaving next week to take all their stuff up there this would be their last time going to the Mesa Temple for awhile. The closest temple to them in Indiana is in Chicago which is like 3 hours away or somthing like that. When we went this weekend with them I had such a wonderful feeling, and such gratitude for being able to have a temple so close to us. Sometimes I think it is taken for granted but I am truely grateful to live 20 min. from the Mesa Temple. I have absolutely loved going, I am so grateful for the work that is done within those walls, and I hope to always be able to attend and do the work that is so vitally important. (I just decided to add a couple pictures of some of my favorite temples)

I totally agree. Temples are so wonderful. It's great that you guys got to go date night there with friends you love.
Long before I dated Trevor, I used to want to run away to the San Diego temple to get married, and tell no one but our parents. I thought it would be so cool to take wedding pictures on the beach and then send announcements out to people saying taytum and so-and-so are pleased to announce they GOT MARRIED in the san diego temple on such and such day....oh the dreams...
I love temples! They are so pretty!
