So this is how the appointment went. We took off for the doctors office. Me chugging my 32oz. of water ON THE WAY (boy did I learn my lesson the hard way the first time) the anticipation of knowing the sex of this baby killing us! So we get in the room and the usual mashing on the belly while you try to tell yourself that your bladder isn't as full as the hoover dam, and wishing the lady would just check on all the important stuff like if your babies brain is the right size, and if the heart is beating, and if it has 2 kidneys later and just tell you if it's a boy or girl so you can run to the bathroom and catch up on all this other stuff after sort of thing. Well I guess the lady had to do her job, so of course I just found my inner chi and got through it and then she says why don't you go to the restroom since the baby doesn't want to really cooperate and move around and come back in here and we'll see if it'll open it's legs.
Oh I went running alright, and when I came back I just knew this baby was going to let me see or else I'd have a bone to pick when it arrived. Well the verdict came and it was a shocker, another girl. I looked at Chris and he was like one of those wax figures you see in those museums. He wasn't disappointed just shocked. EVERYONE and i mean everyone thought it was a boy, including us........everyone but alexa. (Thought I'd give you credit Alah) I'm so excited. I wanted another girl but just had come to terms with the fact that it felt like I was having a boy. Now I can pass down the clothes, and the nursery crib bedding and all that good stuff. Jayda is kinda dumbfounded too. We told her she was having a baby sister and she said, "No! baby broder" . We'll have to pick a name soon and start calling the baby that so she'll get the hang of it being a girl and a new family member in general.

Oh man, I was dead sure I was having a boy too...and well...not so much. It happens to the best of us, I guess. Congratulations!! (and the hand me downs will be really nice...)
Of course, I LOVED having two girls in a row. I couldn't get enough of the bows, bracelets and frilly dresses! I am SO excited for you! It is always fun to see how the second child comes out, looking like which parent, and how close they look to the first! Jayda will be such a good big sister I am sure.
It's nice having 2 of the same back to back...congrats!
Oh I'm so excited for you guys!! That will be nice having all the girl stuff already. Can't wait to hear the name you guys will decide on. I love that part, deciding a name. I'm probably the only one who does. Hope everything is going well with you and the babes. We need to get together, have a playdate or something.

So fun! I can see the matching dresses already. I keep hoping and thinking we'll get matching girls but I'm like you a bit off on my psychic powers.
