D-Backs Game

A couple weeks ago we went to the Diamond Backs game with my family. My Aunt Rhonda was in town from Florida helping my cousin and his wife move back here and we all got to go to the Diamond Backs game. It was a ton of fun, and I don't even like baseball normally. It was also Jayda's first game and I have to say, she did surprisingly well. She was screaming when everyone would scream.....no surprise there, and clapping her hands when the crowd would cheer and even mimicking the drunk guy a couple rows down from us, but we'll get to that later in the post. Our seats rocked! We got to go in this cool entrance and had all these good food places right by our seats. And best of all it wasn't crowded so we just stretched out and let jayda roam up and down the aisle of our row. I can't tell you how nice it is to let your child roam about.

We first sat down and Jayda was already confused as to why there were so many people and why that guy behind us was scarfing down his food so loud lol (Thanks Alexa for taking the pictures for the night so I could actually be in them for once) :)

Once the game got started, it was actually pretty fast paced. That's why I don't normally like baseball because it's so dang slow. I like real sports like basketball and football you know? j/k

Some of us got a little carried away as you'll also see later in this post :) But I mean come on they had to have heard this loon waving his hand and screaming for a shirt. He was definitely louder and going more crazy than the other drunk guys around him who were loud and waving their arms too. Come on!

Jayda started to get a little restless because she noticed all the food and ice cream the other fans were eating around her. At one point she screamed so loud at this couple a couple rows down that they turned around and started laughing when they saw that it was a little 18month old girl screaming at them for their ice cream. So my dad took her out and came back with a "My first Diamond Backs Shirt" T-shirt and a huge foam finger and even a little pom pom. It was so funny to see her face. She loved that big hand. She was waving it around and hitting us on the head. I don't think she realized that, that's not what it was intended for :)

Then it was time for the 7th inning stretch and the loony bin showed up again with the dancing and the yelling of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"!!

Nice moves Chris nice moves! (Don't ask what my parents are doing....kissing or something. As usual)

I was trying to get Jayda to shake the pom pom but then this ended up happening.......

What do you think? Is it me? Jayda looks a little weirded out lol

Then there was this fool. Drunk before the end of the first inning. It was definitely the entertainment of the night though so Alexa and I thought we should document it. He felt the need to walk up and down the isle after every pitch, and after every bad call, and after every song,.....oh who am I kidding he was always up and yelling, dancing, or doing something that made him look like an idiot and after awhile even Jayda started to mimic his screaming and cheering.

And see....here is a classic example.

It was a lot of fun, and we decided we'll have to try it again another time.
