Orange Blossoms

Besides having really bad allergies, this is one of my favorite times of year. Living around orange groves and having orange trees in my backyard I get to smell the orange blossoms when they start to bloom, and boy is it heavenly! If you've never smelt them when they are blooming just come on over and I'll let you stand in my backyard and take a whiff or two. I won't visit with you, or be a wonderful host, I'll just plop you in the backyard and let you sniff away. That's all you'll need i promise :) It smells that good. I don't know why but when I look at the tree all blooming with the white little blossoms I can't help but think of the primary song "Popcorn Popping". I know that's a completely different tree.....acorn i think but still you get the general idea why by looking at the picture.
These are the little pods before they bloom
Yes that's ANOTHER Bee on the flower lol they will not go away!

I seriously here the popcorn popping song in my head every time I see a tree with the white blossoms.

That smell is probably one of my FAVORITE things about "the valley."
