A Day for the Girls

I've been so bad about blogging lately so this post was like a month ago but it's now just making it to the blog. Brinley and Jayda had a play date and it was so much fun having it be just the girls. We love Mason and Ashton but let's just say we didn't miss all the loudness, rough housing, biting, and pushing that comes along with boys. When Jamie pulled up to drop Brinley off she was all grins. The girls played great together. They never cried, or fought once. Grandma came by later with alexa and bailey and we took the girls to McDonalds for some lunch and their very own little kiddie cone of ice cream. The look on the girls faces was priceless, when they realized we were going to let them hold it on their own and that it was just theirs. Brinley downed hers like a champ. Jayda on the other hand....well lets just say my mom and i think she needs to go to not only head band rehab for the obsession she has right now with headbands but ice cream rehab as well lol. Poor thing just does not get the concept of how to lick the cone. I wish we would've gotten it on film. Here's some pictures from their fun at home.

Brinley started out like this all relaxed in her elmo lazy boy lol

Of course Jayda had to have a sit as well....probably just to claim her territory.

starting to lean a bit.....

Then Jayda got up and the weight shifted back

Brinley thought it was pretty dang funny though. Look at that face :)

I wonder what they were looking at?

They played in their fort

They even colored

Hugs were given

And they jammed out too!!
